A new chapter for The Hague

Change doesn’t always mean something new. Sometimes it means doing something better, in places that already matter. This year, we’re rolling out a new round of refits across our stores. And while Amsterdam and Rotterdam are up first, there’s one city we’re especially excited about: The Hague.

Why Lange Poten, and why now

In The Hague, we have two locations: Rijnstraat and Lange Poten. Both have been part of the Salsa Shop journey for a while now. But until now, neither has gone through a full refit.

That’s about to change.

Early this year, we’ll start renovating our Lange Poten store, bringing in the new look and feel that’s already shaping our newer locations. A calmer space. Stronger focus on the food. Materials that age well. A shop that feels grounded, modern, and unmistakably Salsa Shop.

We’re calling this one out specifically because it’s a first for the city. It’s the moment where The Hague gets to experience the brand as it looks and works today, not as it did years ago.

What this means for you

A refit isn’t about chasing trends or making things shinier. It’s about creating a space that works better, for the people behind the counter and the people ordering in front of it.

For you, that means the same food you already like, served in a place that feels clearer, calmer, and more comfortable to be in. Whether you’re grabbing lunch, eating between meetings, or stopping by after work.

So why share this now?

Because growth isn’t just about opening new doors. It’s about taking care of the ones that have been open for years, and making sure they still feel right when you walk in.

The Hague, you’re up next!
