Some people know how to roll a burrito. Some know how to lead a team. Ignacio? He does both and somehow, also pulls playing cards out of thin air.

He joined Salsa Shop in March 2024. No grand entrance. No ego. Just focus, presence, and this rare, steady energy that makes people want to do better. He’s the kind of guy who sees a problem before it hits the surface and fixes it without fanfare.

Born and raised in Spain, Ignacio brought more than just good taste. He brought real flavor in food, in work, and, as it turns out, in magic.

“Every day is different.”

That’s what he’ll tell you. And when you’re running shops, leading crews, solving problems in the middle of a lunch rush: different is an understatement.

Now he’s regional manager. Not because he chased it. But because he’s the kind of person who earns trust quietly, and leads from the floor up.

His order? Carnitas. No question.

White rice, black beans, pico, corn, sour cream, cheese and guac. Always guac. It’s big. It’s bold. It’s balanced.

Just like him.

The face behind the counter and the card tricks

Here’s the thing they don’t tell you: Ignacio’s also a magician. Literally. At our staff parties, he pulls coins from people’s ears and makes cards vanish mid-air.

He doesn’t do it for attention. He does it because it brings people joy. And maybe, just maybe, because a little surprise, a little wonder, makes a team stronger.

This isn’t fast food. This is something else.

At Salsa Shop, we serve food with a face. Not a corporate headshot, but someone like Ignacio, who grew from the floor, brings his whole self to the job, and still finds time to blow your mind with a deck of cards when the music kicks in.
