What happened
This year, Salsa Shop got bigger, but more importantly, busier.
We opened new locations on Reguliersbreestraat, Amsterdam Central Station, Utrecht Central Station, and Rotterdam Central Station. Four very different places, all with the same test: can we show up the same way, every single time?
More guests, more team members, more meals served. Numbers went up, sure, but what mattered more was consistency. Keeping the food sharp. The pace fast. The experience familiar, even when everything around it was new. Stations, city centres, rush hours, tourists, locals, no shortcuts allowed.
Looking forward
We’re not done. 2026 is already waiting.
We’re exploring new locations in cities like Maastricht, Haarlem, Nijmegen, Almere, Den Bosch and Breda. And yes, more spots in Amsterdam too. But growth for us isn’t about pins on a map. It’s about knowing when a place makes sense and when it doesn’t.
So what does this mean for you?
It means the Salsa Shop you know isn’t changing its character as it grows. Wherever you walk in, this year or next, you’ll get the same thing: food made fast, with care, by people who know what they’re doing. And if we ever can’t do that anymore, we won’t open the door.
That’s the promise we’re carrying into 2026.
