When companies talk about growth, the conversation often turns to new locations, processes and performance. Those things matter. But behind every growing business are people. Spending time together outside of the day-to-day gave us a different perspective on the people we work with every day and a better understanding of what drives them.
More context, fewer assumptions
Seeing where someone comes from adds context that rarely comes up during a regular work week. We came back with great memories, plenty of stories and a little more understanding of each other. It won’t change our Monday mornings, but it will probably change how we work together. And that’s valuable too.
