Mexican sauces explained: from fresh salsa to serious heat

Most food brands treat their sauces like a secret. We do the opposite. Our salsa recipes are literally hanging on the walls in every Salsa Shop store. Full ingredient lists, big posters, right there for everyone to see. Because when you’re working with fresh ingredients, good Mexican sauces don’t need to hide behind mystery.

Our six salsa flavours, from mild to fiery

We built our salsa range to go from fresh and easy to properly spicy.

It starts with the Rolling Roasted Tomato. Roasted tomatoes, white onion, cumin, and garlic. Smoky, warm, and easy with basically everything.

Then there’s the Fresh Cucumber Yoghurt, made with cucumber, herbs, garlic, and lemon-lime. The cooling one. Trust us, you’ll need it later.

Things get hotter with the Chili Peach Habanero, where sweet peach meets actual habanero heat, followed by the sharp and fresh Zingy Salsa Verde with tomatillos and jalapeño.

Then comes the Smokey Pineapple Chipotle: sweet, smoky, spicy.

And finally, the Fiery Yellow Habanero, which sounds innocent until it absolutely isn’t.

Why we don’t keep our salsa recipes secret

For us, great salsa is about fresh ingredients, balance, and flavour, not secrecy.

That’s why we openly share what goes into every sauce. From spicy habanero salsa to fresh salsa verde, we want people to actually understand what they’re tasting.

Because good Mexican food should feel real, transparent, and made to share.

Not hidden behind a “secret recipe.”
