It’s not easy to stand out in one of the busiest malls in the country. But that’s exactly why we’re here. Our shop in Hoog Catharijne has always been one of the heavy hitters, especially on rainy days when the whole city moves indoors. Still, it was time for something new.
This wasn’t just a lick of paint and a new sign. It was a rethink of everything: how the space feels, how people move through it, how fast the line flows. New branding on the walls, kiosks that put you in charge, two make lines that keep things rolling. It’s sharper, quicker, more alive.
One shop at a time
This rebrand started as a vision from our founder, Louis, who teamed up with Paris-based film director Océane Combeau to bring it to life. Together, they redefined what Salsa Shop should _feel_ like. Not just functional, but full of character. Real. Modern. A little rebellious.
Hoog Catharijne is one of the shops to carry that new identity, and it shows. Every new rebrand (next up: Bijlmerplein and Zuidplein) helps us fine-tune the look, see how people respond, and make the brand stronger from the inside out. We’re not done yet, but this one’s a big step.
